Being in Love with You
A 6-month journey home to your body, your pleasure, and yourselfDuration
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine...
A world where you wake up feeling at home in your body. Where you catch your reflection and smile instead of critiquing. Where you move through the world with confidence, not because you've changed your shape but because you've changed your relationship with yourself.
Imagine touching your own skin with tenderness, not judgment. Feeling pleasure without shame. Saying "no" without guilt and "yes" without second-guessing. Knowing what you want and trusting yourself to ask for it.
What if you could wake up each morning feeling alive in your body rather than at war with it? What if self-love wasn't just an aspiration on a gratitude journal but an embodied reality you could feel in your bones?
This isn't fantasy. It's what becomes possible when you stop trying to fix yourself and start learning to actually inhabit your body.

About This Programme
Being in Love with You is a 6-month online journey back to your body through embodied practices, conscious touch, and the support of other women navigating the same territory. We meet fortnightly, giving you time to truly integrate the practices between sessions.
This isn't therapy. It's not life coaching. It's not about fixing your mindset or forcing positive thinking. This is embodiment work: learning to actually inhabit your body again, to feel sensation, to reconnect with pleasure, to trust your own wisdom.
Let's be clear about what's involved
This programme requires commitment. You'll meet fortnightly on Zoom with a small group of women for 2.5 hours of teaching, practice, and vulnerable sharing. The fortnightly rhythm is intentional: sexuality and embodiment work can be triggering, and your nervous system needs time to integrate between sessions. Between sessions, you'll have daily practices, often 10-30 minutes of conscious touch, breathing, or movement work. You'll also have two individual 45-minute coaching calls with me to support your personal journey.
The practices involve touching your own body, all of it, including the parts you tend to avoid or judge. This can bring up discomfort, emotion, resistance. That's not only normal, it's part of the process. The fortnightly pace gives you breathing room to work with what arises without becoming overwhelmed. You'll be held in a safe container with other women and with me, moving at your own pace.
What we're actually addressing
This programme is designed for the specific challenges that keep women disconnected from their bodies and their capacity for self-love. That includes body shame and the constant comparison to impossible standards. It includes the numbness that can develop after years of overriding the body's signals. It includes trauma responses that make intimacy feel unsafe. It includes the exhaustion of always performing, always giving, never receiving.
We work with the loss of desire that happens when sex becomes obligation rather than pleasure. The difficulty setting boundaries when you've been conditioned to please everyone else. The grief of feeling like you've lost connection with yourself somewhere along the way. The fear that you're somehow fundamentally broken or unlovable.
Here's what's actually happening
Your body isn't the problem. The disconnection is.
When you live primarily in your head (thinking, analysing, worrying), you lose access to the body's wisdom. It can become hard to tell what you actually want from what you think you should want. You lose the capacity to receive pleasure because you're too busy monitoring how you look or whether you're doing it "right."
For many women, this disconnection started as a protective response. Maybe your body wasn't safe. Maybe pleasure was punished. Maybe you learned that your needs didn't matter or that expressing desire made you "bad." So many women learn to shut it down, to go numb, to live from the neck up where things feel more controllable.
But what protected you then is limiting you now. That numbness that kept you safe has also cut you off from joy, from sensation, from aliveness. And no amount of positive thinking or bubble baths will change that until you learn to actually come back into your body.
The approach
We start with the simplest thing: learning to touch yourself with presence and curiosity rather than judgment. Waking up sensation in your hands, your arms, your belly, all the parts you tend to ignore or criticise. Building a relationship with your body based on kindness rather than criticism.
From there, we explore boundaries, not as rules but as embodied practices of checking in with yourself and trusting what you find. We work with shame by bringing it into the light, speaking it aloud in a safe container where it can finally start to dissolve. We discover what genuine pleasure feels like when you're not performing or monitoring, when you're simply allowing sensation to be what it is.
Throughout the programme, you'll create a personal project, something tangible you want to transform in your life. It might be about reclaiming confidence in your body. Learning to receive compliments. Speaking up about your needs in a relationship. Finally exploring your sexuality without shame. The project is yours to define, and the group supports you in bringing it to life.
We meet fortnightly via Zoom in a small, intimate group. This slower pace isn't a compromise. It's intentional. Sexuality work brings up old shame, trauma responses, and deeply ingrained patterns. Your nervous system needs time to process and integrate between sessions. Rushing this work can lead to overwhelm and shutdown. The fortnightly rhythm creates sustainable transformation rather than temporary insight.
Each session includes teaching, guided embodied practices (which you do in the privacy of your own space with your camera on or off as feels comfortable), and time for vulnerable sharing. Between sessions, you'll have daily practices to deepen the work, often 10-30 minutes of conscious touch, breathing, or movement. The two-week cycle gives you time to truly live with the practices, notice what arises, work through resistance, and bring your real experience back to the group.
The group becomes a powerful container for transformation. There's something profound about witnessing other women navigate the same territory: hearing their struggles, celebrating their breakthroughs, feeling less alone in your own journey. The bonds formed in this programme often last well beyond the 6 months.
What makes this different
Unlike therapy, which tends to work primarily through talking and understanding, this programme works through direct embodied experience. You're not analysing why you feel disconnected. You're practising actually feeling again. Unlike self-help approaches that focus on changing your thoughts, this programme recognises that lasting transformation happens in the nervous system, not just in the mind.
The work is trauma-informed, which means we understand that your disconnection likely developed for good reasons. We honour that whilst also creating a safe enough space for you to slowly begin reconnecting. Everything is optional. You always have choice. Your body's wisdom leads the way, not my agenda.
The fortnightly pace is part of the trauma-informed approach. When working with sexuality, shame, and body reconnection, weekly sessions can overwhelm the nervous system. The two-week rhythm allows you to practice, encounter resistance, work through it, and come back ready for the next layer. This creates lasting change rather than temporary breakthroughs that fade when the intensity stops.
This programme combines the best of several modalities: embodiment practices from Tantra and somatic work, consent frameworks that help you develop genuine boundaries, coaching support for your personal project, and the powerful container of group work where you witness and are witnessed by other women.
Time commitment
Be realistic about this: 6 months is a significant commitment, but it's also sustainable. You'll have a 2.5-hour session every other week, plus daily 10-30 minute practices. If you're already overwhelmed and barely keeping your head above water, even this slower pace might not be the right timing. But if you're ready to prioritise yourself, to carve out this space for your own reconnection and healing, the fortnightly rhythm makes it actually doable alongside the rest of your life.
The daily practices are intentionally short because sustainability matters more than intensity. Ten minutes of conscious touch practice done consistently will create more transformation than an hour-long practice you can't maintain. And meeting fortnightly rather than weekly means you won't burn out. You'll have time to integrate, process, and actually live with the practices rather than rushing from one session to the next.
The group accountability helps: knowing other women are also showing up for themselves makes it easier to show up for yourself. And having two weeks between sessions means that when life gets chaotic (as it does), you don't immediately fall behind. You have breathing room.
What this isn't
This programme isn't about losing weight, getting fit, or changing your body to match some external standard. It's not about "fixing" yourself or becoming someone different. It's not traditional talk therapy, though therapeutic healing often happens. It's not a magic solution that will transform your entire life in 6 months without any effort on your part.
This programme also isn't for everyone. If you're currently in acute crisis or dealing with severe mental health challenges, individual therapy should come first. If you're struggling with active addiction, please address that before joining. And if you're hoping someone else will do the work for you, this isn't the right container.
What You'll Achieve
By the end of this programme, you will:
- Be able to connect to your body and explore your deep wants and desires
- Be able to express your wants and desires as well as your limits and boundaries
- To be able to give and receive unconditionally
- To awaken your body and its ability to feel pleasure
- To connect to parts of our body we might feel shame about, that we are disconnected to, or numb from and to be wholly in love with our body
- To learn to take time for our own pleasure and nurture
- To be in the moment, wholly present with ourselves and with others
- Experience what it is like to fully love yourself
- Leave behind body issues from the past and love all parts of your body
- Be confident in any clothes you might wear or naked
Who This Programme Is For (And Who It's Not For)
You're tired of living in your head and want to actually feel at home in your body. You struggle with body shame, constantly comparing yourself to impossible standards. You've lost connection with pleasure and desire, or never really had it to begin with. You find it difficult to say "no" or set boundaries without guilt. You're going through the motions in intimacy but not really present.
You want to love yourself but affirmations and bubble baths aren't touching the deeper disconnection. You're ready to commit to daily practices and honest exploration in a group setting. You recognise that the numbness that once protected you is now limiting you. You're willing to feel uncomfortable emotions as part of the healing process. You want the support of other women navigating similar territory.
This programme might not be right if...
You're currently in acute mental health crisis (please seek immediate therapeutic support first). You're dealing with active addiction that needs to be addressed before embodiment work. You're looking for a quick fix or magic solution that doesn't require daily commitment. You prefer to work things out entirely on your own rather than in a group setting. You're expecting someone else to do the transformation work for you.
A note on readiness
If you're feeling nervous about this programme (about being vulnerable in a group, about touching your own body, about what might come up), that nervousness doesn't mean you're not ready. It might actually mean you're right at the edge of growth, exactly where transformation happens.
What matters more than feeling ready is being willing. Willing to feel uncomfortable sometimes. Willing to show up even when resistance arises. Willing to practice even on days when it feels pointless. That willingness is what creates change.
Nervousness isn't a sign you're not ready. It's often a sign you're at an edge of growth.
If you're genuinely not sure whether group work is right for you, or if you need more individualized support before joining a programme, I also offer one-to-one sessions. These can be a good way to explore this work at your own pace before committing to a group container.

What Participants Say
"I am a 53-year-old mother who had just walked away from a 15-year relationship. I wanted to take stock of my life and reevaluate how I was living. Taking part in this course has truly been phenomenal. Simple things like just gently stroking my hands and spending time with myself in a loving way (which I have never done before) has been profound. I'm still the kind compassionate Jules I was before, but I am not anxious and burnt out. I have learnt to check in with myself and check what I need before I respond to what other people want."

Being in Love with You Programme
"Before I did the programme I was quite reserved when it came to sexual expression and was more in my mind than in my body. I also found it difficult to move on from a past relationship and didn't understand why. I really enjoyed discovering myself and the other women on the course on a weekly basis. The themes around consent really helped to understand that I can change my mind and this freed me up from a past relationship. The intimacy in my relationship with my partner has really developed to the point where he started to also get freed up from shame and we could have more fun. I got a contract that paid me a significant amount more than I have been on before. I can honestly say I can really now tell when I'm in my body and when I'm in the mind and that's really helpful!"

Being in Love with You Programme
"I came to the course with a lot of shame around my body and my sexuality. I didn't feel very comfortable in my own skin or in anyone seeing my skin and I felt very uncomfortable expressing myself sexually or in experiencing sexual pleasure. I quite simply wanted to learn to love myself; I wanted to let go of the shame that's come out of my past experiences. All the conscious touch work was invaluable as I had never really given myself that much time and attention beforehand. It was incredible realising how much sensation there is even in my hands. The work on consent was really impactful and demonstrated to me the areas of my life where I have not been acting authentically in line with what I truly want and need. The consent work has helped me speak up more about things I want and to say no to things I am not comfortable with in my everyday life with family friends and colleagues. I've been able to have conversations with my partner about our sexual relationship that I would have shied away from in the past and our relationship is definitely better for it."

Guiding your journey through deep embodied wisdom and lived experience
Melanie Knight
Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) · Somatic Sex Educator
I know what it's like to feel disconnected from your body, to use pain to try to feel something, to believe you're unlovable. I've walked that path, and found my way through to the other side.
My journey to this work began with my own profound awakening through Tantra. I discovered how to move from disconnection to embodied aliveness, from shame to celebration, and from pain to pleasure.
I'm now 50, in a deeply loving Tantric polyamorous relationship, and practice Tantra daily. As a Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB), Certified Somatic Sex Educator (CSSE), and transformational coach with over 20 years of experience, I combine extensive training with profound personal transformation:
• 10+ years studying Tantra and sacred sexuality practices
• 15+ years with Landmark (former seminar leader)
• 6+ years as a Clean Language facilitator
• Former board member of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers
• Recommended supervisor for practitioners
I specialise in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause to reconnect with their bodies and reclaim their sexual power. I came to this work through my own experience of it, and that is still the reason I do it.
Common Questions
No, not at all. This programme is designed for women at all levels of experience. Whether you're completely new to this type of work or you've done years of personal development, yoga, or therapy, the programme is built to meet people where they are, whatever they have or have not done before. The practices are accessible and can be adapted to your comfort level.
The programme is trauma-informed, which means we understand that disconnection and numbness often develop as protective responses to difficult experiences. Everything in the programme is optional and self-paced. You have complete autonomy over what you explore and how quickly you move. That said, if you're currently in acute trauma response or crisis, individual therapy should come first. During your discovery call, we'll explore whether the timing feels right for you.
During the teaching and sharing portions, cameras are encouraged as they help create connection and trust in the group. However, during the embodied practices, you're welcome to turn your camera off if that feels more comfortable. You're never required to share more than feels safe, and the programme agreements include confidentiality so that what's shared in the group stays in the group.
Be honest with yourself about this. The programme requires a 2.5-hour session every two weeks plus 10-30 minutes of daily practice. The fortnightly rhythm is intentionally designed to be sustainable: you're not rushing from session to session. You have breathing room to integrate the practices into your life. If you're already overwhelmed and barely keeping your head above water, even this slower pace might not be the right timing. But if you're ready to prioritise yourself, the fortnightly structure makes it actually doable alongside work, family, and everything else. Many women find that the practices actually give them more energy and presence for the rest of their lives rather than depleting them further.
All sessions are recorded so you can catch up if you need to miss a session. However, the real magic happens in the live experience: the practices, the group sharing, the witnessing. So whilst life happens and missing the occasional session is understandable, regular attendance is important for getting the full benefit of the programme.
Many women find that as they develop a more loving relationship with their own bodies, their intimate relationships naturally shift as well. They're more able to communicate their needs, set boundaries, and show up with presence rather than performance. However, this programme focuses on your relationship with yourself, not on fixing your relationship with someone else. The ripple effects often extend into partnerships, but that's not the primary focus.
This programme is open to women of all ages, from women in their 20s navigating body confidence and sexuality for the first time, through to women in their 70s reclaiming aliveness in their later years. The common thread isn't age, it's the desire to reconnect with your body and develop genuine self-love. The group diversity often enriches the experience as women witness different life stages and challenges.
Because this is a group programme and your place is held from the moment you enrol, refunds are not available after the programme starts. If you need to withdraw before the start date, we can discuss options on a case-by-case basis. This is why the discovery call is so important: to ensure you're genuinely ready and this is the right fit before you commit.
