Conscious Tantric Massage for Women in London
Sacred, trauma-informed bodywork that honours your whole being through conscious, loving touchStart with a free conversation
Every journey starts with a free, unhurried 60-minute discovery call, in person in North London (N11) or online. No pressure.
Tantric massage is a whole-body practice built on the understanding that your body holds profound intelligence, and that the work is to listen to it rather than to do something to it.
It is an invitation to receive touch that is entirely for you, with no agenda and nothing you need to give back. That is genuinely all it asks: that you arrive, and that you let yourself receive.
Plenty of people read this far and close the tab. The page will still be here. It goes on to answer the questions people find hardest to ask out loud. Whether you have to undress. What happens if you want to stop. Whether internal touch is ever assumed, which it is not. Nothing here happens because it is on a list.
Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating life transitions like motherhood or menopause, reconnecting with sensation and pleasure, or simply seeking to deepen your relationship with your body's wisdom and your embodied feminine essence, this work can support you.
What Is Tantric & Yoni Massage?
Tantric massage is a body-based practice rooted in ancient wisdom traditions that honours your whole being through conscious, loving touch. Unlike conventional massage that focuses on muscles and tension, tantric massage works with your entire nervous system, breath, life force energy, and capacity for sensation and pleasure.
This is not about achieving orgasm or "fixing" anything. It's about reconnection: with your body, your capacity for pleasure, your innate feminine wisdom, and your authentic aliveness. The massage honours your entire body, and can include intimate touch to the vulva and vagina (yoni massage) if that feels appropriate and you've given explicit consent.
"Yoni" is a Sanskrit word meaning sacred space, and refers to the vulva, vagina, and entire pelvic region. Yoni massage is intimate touch offered to this area with deep respect, presence, and the intention of awakening sensation, releasing held tension, and honouring your body's wisdom.
The Approach
The approach is slow, present, and deeply honouring. There are no goals or expectations: just an invitation to receive, feel, and allow whatever arises. Sexual touch often has a goal (arousal, orgasm) and moves quickly towards that goal. Tantric massage has no goal. It's about presence, sensation, and allowing your body to respond however it responds.
There's no pressure to feel anything particular, no expectation of arousal, and orgasm is not the aim (though it may happen). This removal of pressure and performance often allows women to access sensation, pleasure, and connection they've never experienced before.
If you are wondering whether you are the right sort of person for this
You might think you are too old, or too heavy, or too shut down, or that you have left it far too long. Those are among the most common things women say in a first conversation, and not one of them is a reason to stay away. I have worked with women in their twenties and women in their seventies, with bodies that have carried children, illness, surgery and grief. There is no standard you are being measured against here.
Who This Work Serves
This deeply healing practice is for women who:
Healing from Trauma
You've experienced sexual trauma or abuse and want to reclaim your body and reconnect with pleasure in a safe, boundaried container. The slow, trauma-informed approach helps your nervous system learn that touch can be safe, honouring, and healing.
Two things worth knowing if this is you. You stay in control of what happens throughout, and we work at the pace your nervous system sets rather than any timeline of mine. And you are never required to tell me what happened. Some women want to, some never do, and the work is the same either way. We follow what your body needs in the moment, not the story.
Navigating Life Transitions
You're moving through motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, or other major life transitions and feel disconnected from your sensual self. This work helps you reconnect with your changing body without pressure or expectation.
Experiencing Numbness or Pain
You experience numbness, lack of sensation, or pain during intimate touch. Perhaps you have never had an orgasm, or they have become harder to reach than they once were, and you have started to wonder whether something is wrong with you. Perhaps you have vaginismus, vulvodynia, endometriosis, or another condition affecting your sexuality. The gentle, responsive approach works with your body exactly as it is.
Seeking Deeper Connection
You want to deepen your relationship with your body, discover new dimensions of sensation and pleasure, or explore tantric practices in a safe, held space. You don't need to have "problems" to deserve this work.
Releasing Shame
You carry shame about your body, your desires, or your sexuality, perhaps from religious upbringing, cultural conditioning, or past relationships. This work helps you reclaim your inherent right to pleasure and embodied aliveness.
If you are wondering whether feeling self-conscious about your body rules you out, it does not. Most women arrive nervous about being seen, and it is one of the most common things said in a first conversation. Whatever your size, shape or age, and however you feel about your body today, there is no way you are meant to look, feel or respond here.
Wanting to Simply Receive
You're tired of always giving, always performing, always taking care of others. This is space to receive touch that is entirely for you, without needing to reciprocate or manage anyone else's needs or responses.
Starting where you are
Many women come to this work having spent years being done to, in relationships, in healthcare, in sex that was easier to get through than to stop. If you are used to lying still and waiting for something to be over, that does not disqualify you from this work. It is the reason the work exists.
You do not need to arrive already able to say "slower" or "not there". That is something the sessions build, not something you are expected to bring. We start with what you can do today, and the first thing we establish is that you can stop at any moment and that I will be glad you did.
Some women choose to begin with clothed somatic sessions, working on touch and boundaries in a more contained way, and come to the massage later. Others begin with the massage and find their voice inside it. Both are common ways in. We work out which suits you on the call, and you can change your mind afterwards.
One thing worth settling early, since it is often the quiet question underneath the others: internal touch is never a given. Many women receive a great deal from external touch alone, and if internal work is ever part of a session it is because you have asked for it, in that moment, having talked it through first.

What Happens in a Tantric Massage Session
Beginning: Creating Sacred Space
Sessions begin with creating sacred space, a brief ritual that marks the transition from everyday life into this held, intentional time for you. We'll check in about how you're feeling, discuss any boundaries or areas of focus, confirm consent for the session ahead, and talk about clothing and body-to-body contact preferences.
We'll take time for heart-to-heart connection, allowing us to truly meet each other in presence before the bodywork begins. This creates the foundation of trust and safety that makes deep receiving possible.
I'll prepare the space with soft lighting, candles if you'd like them, and beautiful surroundings designed for your comfort and relaxation. You're welcome to bring your own music playlist, or I can provide gentle, grounding music that supports deep receiving. Blankets and draping are available. You can choose to be fully covered, partially covered, or uncovered, whatever feels right for your body.
You'll then be invited to undress. It is worth saying plainly what that often means, because it is the thing most women want to know and are least likely to ask. Most choose to keep their knickers on, or to be fully undressed. Draping and sheets are always there, and staying partly covered, particularly to begin with, works perfectly well.
In traditional tantric massage the practitioner is typically unclothed or minimally clothed, because body-to-body contact is part of the practice and is difficult to offer meaningfully through clothing. We agree this together beforehand, and if you would prefer I stay clothed, that is your choice and the session adapts around it.
Any of this can change at any point once we have begun. We'll start with grounding practices: breath, presence, and connection.
Full Body Massage with Conscious Touch
The massage typically begins with you lying on your front. I'll start with your back, using long, gentle strokes that allow your nervous system to settle and your body to begin receiving. The pace is intentionally slow, giving you time to actually feel sensations rather than rushing towards any particular outcome.
This is a full body massage: your entire body receives attention and honouring touch. In tantric massage, I use my whole body, not just my hands, including forearms, torso, and legs to create broader, more enveloping contact. This body-to-body touch is part of the traditional practice and helps your nervous system relax more deeply.
Touch is offered with complete presence and awareness. This isn't background touch while thinking about something else. This is touch as communication, touch as honouring, touch as invitation. Many women say they can feel the difference.
You can simply settle into receiving, allowing your body to soften and open at its own pace. Or you can guide what kind of touch you'd like: firmer, softer, slower, in certain areas. This is your session, and your preferences matter. The focus remains on discovering what feels good, what creates sensation and pleasure, and what allows you to stay present and embodied.
Sacred Yoni Massage (If Requested)
After the full body massage is complete, I'll check in with you about whether you'd like to include yoni massage. This is always your choice. Anyone can receive yoni massage, but it must be explicitly requested and confirmed in the moment.
Even if we discussed yoni massage beforehand, I check in again after the body massage to ensure you still want to proceed. Your needs and comfort may have shifted during the session, and that's completely normal and honoured.
If you choose to receive yoni massage, it's approached with the same slow, honouring presence as the rest of your body. This might include external touch to the vulva, internal massage of the vagina and cervix (if consented), and working with breath and sound to help you stay present with sensation.
The touch is mindful and reverential, allowing you to surrender deeply knowing your body and energy are being held with profound respect. The focus is on awakening sensation, releasing held tension, and allowing your body to express itself authentically, however that looks.
Integration and Closing
Sessions conclude with time to rest, integrate, and gently return to normal awareness. This integration time is essential. Your body and nervous system need space to process the experience. Many women need 20-30 minutes of quiet stillness after the massage before they're ready to move or speak.
We'll check in about your experience, and you'll be invited to move at your own pace. There's no rush to "return to normal". This gentle transition honours the depth of what you've just experienced.
The Unique Healing Power of Woman-to-Woman Touch
There's something particularly powerful about receiving healing touch from another woman. When women receive intimate touch in a therapeutic context, several unique healing dynamics can unfold that don't typically occur in partnered sexuality or with male practitioners.
When a woman receives touch from another woman, it creates a natural mirroring where feminine wisdom can be shared through presence and touch. There's an intuitive understanding of the female body's rhythms, cycles, and energetic patterns that comes from lived experience. This embodied knowing creates a safety that goes beyond words.
When a woman receives sensual touch from another woman in a therapeutic setting, the absence of male gaze or expectation allows the receiver's experience to be purely about her own felt experience. This creates the optimal conditions for healing, exploration, release, and ultimately, profound healing of the feminine psyche without the weight of performing or pleasing.
Many women carry conditioning around pleasing others, particularly in intimate contexts. Receiving touch from another woman can bypass this conditioning, creating space for authentic self-expression and pleasure without the weight of male sexual expectation or the dynamics of being objectified or evaluated.
Woman-to-woman touch carries an implicit understanding of the female body's wisdom and cycles. There's no need to explain or translate. The practitioner intuitively understands menstruation, pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, hormonal shifts, and the unique journey of inhabiting a female body. This shared embodied knowledge creates a depth of understanding that goes beyond technique.
Touch therapy from another woman can help break through layers of patriarchal and heteronormative conditioning around pleasure, helping you find your own authentic sexual expression and desires rather than adapting to external expectations or prescribed scripts about how women "should" experience pleasure.
Culturally, women's bodies have often been objectified or controlled by patriarchal structures. Woman-to-woman intimate touch can help reclaim the body as sacred, powerful, and inherently valuable beyond its utility to others. This work honours your body as yours, not as something that exists for male pleasure or approval.
Without the complex dynamics of partnered sexuality or heterosexual conditioning, many women report experiencing sensations and pleasure they'd never accessed before, discovering a capacity for embodied aliveness that was always present but hidden beneath layers of conditioning, performance, and people-pleasing.
What Makes This Work Different
This work is held within clear professional boundaries and trauma-informed principles that create the safety needed for vulnerable healing:
A Trauma-Informed, Consent-Based Approach
All my work, whether one-to-one, group, or online, is grounded in these core principles:
- Your pace, always
You're in control of every step. We move only as fast as feels safe and comfortable for you. - Clear boundaries
Consent isn't just a concept. It's practised in every moment. You'll learn to recognise, communicate, and honour your boundaries. - Body wisdom
Your body holds profound intelligence. Rather than overriding it, we'll learn to listen to what it's telling you. - No performance pressure
This isn't about achieving goals or looking a certain way. It's about authentic connection and embodied awareness. - Professional support
As a Certified Sexological Bodyworker, trained Tantra practitioner, and experienced coach, I bring both ancient wisdom and modern understanding to this work.
Session Investment & Duration
Sessions are £360 for 3 hours
This extended time is essential. Your nervous system needs time to shift from everyday consciousness into a receptive state. The massage itself cannot be rushed: slow, present touch is what allows for genuine reconnection and the discovery of new sensations.
The longer timeframe also allows for proper integration afterward. Many women need 10-15 minutes of quiet resting time after the massage before they're ready to move or speak. Rushing straight back into normal life doesn't serve the healing.
Location
I work from my home in North London, creating a warm, sacred environment for our sessions.
The space is private, beautifully appointed, and specifically designed for this healing work. You won't encounter other clients, and sessions are scheduled with appropriate time between them for complete privacy and discretion.
Exact location details will be provided when you book your first session. The practice is easily accessible via public transport, with free on-street parking available if you're driving.
Your Journey, Your Pace
You remain in complete control, and we go at the pace your body sets rather than any timeline of mine.
Some women come for a massage and that is the work. Others weave it together with clothed sexological bodywork sessions, building the language for what they want alongside the receiving. Both work well, and we decide together rather than in advance.

Embodied Healing & Awakening
Individual Sessions
I felt very lost, numb and alone and really didn't know what I needed to do to find the connection and help I was searching for. I have tried other conventional therapies and medications but there was still something missing. That's when I found Melanie. Even from the very first session I felt empowered and like someone had managed to see inside me and bring me out of my shell. I am really surprised at how quickly I was able to trust Melanie and see and feel the difference. It feels like my life will never be the same again. There are no words to express my gratitude to Melanie and to experience a safe space where we can explore what I need together is life changing. I feel so loved and cared for. I don't think this is a job you can do but it is definitely a calling and Melanie is born to do what she does.
Frequently Asked Questions
Understanding the Work
Tantric massage is a sacred, full-body practice that honours your innate feminine wisdom and reconnects you with your authentic sensual self. Unlike conventional massage that focuses solely on muscles and tension, tantric massage works with your entire nervous system, breath, life force energy, and capacity for sensation and pleasure.
This is not about achieving orgasm or "fixing" anything. It's about reconnection with your body, your capacity for pleasure, your innate feminine wisdom, and your authentic aliveness through conscious, loving touch.
"Yoni" is a Sanskrit word meaning sacred space, referring to the vulva, vagina, and entire pelvic region. Yoni massage is intimate touch offered to this area with deep respect, presence, and the intention of awakening sensation, releasing held tension, and honouring your body's wisdom.
This is always optional and only happens with your explicit consent, asked for again in the moment. Some women include it from the start, some come to it later, and some never do. All three are complete experiences rather than stages of one.
No. Whilst this work involves intimate touch and may awaken arousal and pleasure, it is fundamentally therapeutic and educational, not sexual interaction. The touch is always one-directional (I touch you, you don't touch me), boundaried, and in service of your healing and reconnection.
Clear professional boundaries create the safety needed for vulnerable healing work. These boundaries remain constant regardless of arousal or what clothing is or isn't worn.
Some women arrive having never had an orgasm, or having found them harder to reach than they used to be, and that is one of the more common reasons women come to this work. Nothing here depends on you being able to. There is no point in a session where something is supposed to happen and you have failed if it does not. Orgasm is neither the goal nor something to avoid. It's simply one of many possible responses your body might have. If orgasm happens, it's welcomed as part of your body's natural expression. If it doesn't happen, that's equally valid and valuable.
The practice is about presence, sensation, and allowing your body to respond authentically without pressure to perform or achieve anything. Many women find that removing the pressure to orgasm actually allows them to access pleasure and sensation they've never experienced before.
In traditional tantric massage practice, the practitioner is typically unclothed or minimally clothed. This allows for body-to-body contact, which is an integral part of tantric massage and creates different qualities of sensation and presence than hands-only touch.
This is always discussed and agreed upon beforehand during our initial conversation. If you prefer that I remain clothed, that's absolutely your choice and we can adapt the session accordingly. This is about you being in your body and choosing what feels right for you, not about what's "comfortable." The therapeutic nature of the work and professional boundaries remain constant regardless of clothing.
Unlike conventional massage which uses only hands, tantric massage incorporates the practitioner's entire body: forearms, torso, legs. This creates broader, more enveloping contact that can help your nervous system relax more deeply and experience different qualities of sensation.
Body-to-body contact is part of the traditional practice and offers unique therapeutic benefits: it can create a sense of being held and surrounded by touch, allows for different pressures and movements, and brings a quality of full embodied presence to the work.
This is always discussed beforehand and you can request modifications at any time. The professional boundaries and therapeutic nature of the work remain constant regardless of what either of us is wearing.
Boundaries & Consent
For tantric massage, often yes, and it is worth saying so plainly.
Tantric massage is a full body massage that often includes body to body contact, and that is difficult to offer meaningfully through clothing. Most women choose to keep their knickers on, or to be fully undressed. Draping and sheets are always there if you want them, and some people prefer to stay partly covered, particularly to begin with. That is fine and it still works.
If being undressed is the part you are most unsure about, say so on the call. Sometimes the answer is simply more draping and a slower start. Sometimes people prefer to begin with clothed somatic sessions and come to the massage later. There is no single right order, and nothing gets decided before we have spoken.
If you are not sure which is the right starting point, bring it to the discovery call and we can work it out together.
Only if you explicitly consent to it, and it feels appropriate for where you are in your process. Internal yoni massage (vaginal and cervical massage) is always optional, never required.
Many women receive profound benefit from external touch alone. If and when internal touch is explored, we discuss it thoroughly beforehand, and you remain in complete control of what happens.
No, tantric massage sessions are always individual work. This is space for you to receive without needing to manage anyone else's responses or feelings. Many women find this one-directional receiving creates healing that transforms their partnered intimacy, but the sessions themselves are for you alone.
If you're interested in couples work, I offer separate couples sessions that focus on communication, consent, and shared embodiment practices.
Who This Is For
Yes. This work is explicitly trauma-informed, meaning your safety (physical, emotional, and psychological) is paramount. You remain in complete control of what happens. We work at your nervous system's pace, not according to external timelines.
Many survivors find that receiving conscious, boundaried touch in a safe container helps their nervous system learn that touch can be safe, honouring, and healing. However, you're never required to recount trauma details, and we work with what your body needs in each moment.
I work with many women experiencing pelvic pain, vaginismus, vulvodynia, endometriosis, and other conditions affecting sexuality. The gentle, responsive approach works with your body exactly as it is, without pressure or expectation.
However, I'm not a medical provider. If you haven't already, please consult with a GP or pelvic health physiotherapist to rule out medical causes. I can work alongside medical treatment, but not as a replacement for it.
Yes. Many women find that what feels like "loss of desire" during perimenopause and menopause is actually a rejection of unsatisfying sexuality, a period of fierce honesty about what you actually want rather than dysfunction needing to be fixed.
This work helps you reconnect with your changing body without pressure or expectation, discovering what actually feels good now rather than trying to recreate what worked in your 20s. It's about honouring your body's current wisdom, not forcing it back to some previous state.
Yes. I work with women with various physical challenges including medical conditions, chronic illness, and disabilities. The work adapts to your body's needs and capabilities.
My practice space is on the first floor with stairs, which may present accessibility challenges. If needed, I can arrange home visits for local clients (North London) or we can begin with online embodiment sessions. Please mention your specific needs in your discovery call so we can discuss the best approach.
Not at all. It's completely normal and expected. Many women feel nervous or self-conscious before their first session. This nervousness often melts away as the session unfolds and your nervous system begins to relax.
Your body is welcome here exactly as it is, whatever your size, shape, age, or how you feel about it. There's absolutely no pressure or expectation to look, feel, or respond in any particular way.
Practical Details
Tantric massage sessions are a minimum of 3 hours and cost £360.
This extended time is essential. Your nervous system needs time to shift from everyday consciousness into a receptive state. The massage itself cannot be rushed: slow, present touch is what allows for genuine reconnection and discovery of new sensations. The longer timeframe also allows for proper integration afterward, as many women need 20-30 minutes of quiet resting time after the massage.
I work from my home in North London, creating a warm, sacred environment for sessions. The space is private, beautifully appointed, and specifically designed for this healing work.
Exact location details will be provided when you book your first session. The practice is easily accessible via public transport, with free on-street parking available if you're driving.
Your menstrual cycle is not a problem at all. We can absolutely work during menstruation. If you're comfortable with it, we simply use towels as needed. Your body is honoured in all its natural cycles and processes.
The main preparation is simply showing up as you are. Wear comfortable clothing you can easily remove if you choose to undress. Avoid heavy meals immediately before your session, but don't arrive hungry either.
Most importantly, be gentle with yourself about any nervousness or uncertainty. These feelings are completely normal and part of the process.
Allow time for integration. Many women feel deeply relaxed, emotional, or energized after sessions, sometimes all three at different moments. Plan for gentle activity afterward rather than rushing back to demands.
Some women notice shifts immediately, whilst others find that the work integrates over days or weeks. There's no "right" way to respond. Your body's wisdom unfolds at its own pace.
