The Thing You Have Never Said Out Loud

Sunday 11th October, 11:00am to 1:30pm. North London (N11). Desire, shame and the judgements we carry.

Good girls don't. At your age? That's dirty. You're too much. Most of us carry a voice that has an opinion about what we want, and it was never really ours. This is a morning for finding out you are not the only one, putting that judgement down, and owning your desire. Fully clothed, nobody touches anybody, and you are never asked to explain yourself.

Riding the Fire Horse: A Year of Embodied Freedom

2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, the first in 60 years. It’s a year of passion, movement, and not being reined in. But wild fire without grounding burns everything down.

These monthly circles help you harness that fierce energy IN your body, so you can ride the fire rather than being consumed by it.

Each month we gather in an intimate home setting in North London. We move. We share. We explore sensuality, embodiment, and authentic expression in a shame-free, women-only space.

Your sensuality isn’t something to manage or hide. This year, it’s the horse you’re learning to ride.

Whether you come to one circle or all twelve, each gathering is complete in itself, and part of a larger arc that deepens throughout the year.

What You’ll Experience

Every circle follows a similar rhythm, though the content changes each month.

A safe space to speak and be witnessed. We listen without fixing. What’s shared stays here.

Somatic Practices

Body-based explorations: breathwork, movement, sensory practices, guided meditation. Always fully clothed, always by invitation.

Creative Integration

Drawing, writing, ritual, or reflection, giving form to what your body has discovered.

Tea & Connection

Herbal teas provided throughout. This is a nourishing space for body and soul.

Sisterhood

Maximum 8 women ensures intimacy and deep connection. A community of women on a similar journey.

The Themes We Move Through

Twelve themes, one arc through the Year of the Fire Horse. We open by shedding what no longer fits, build heat through spring and into midsummer, turn towards receiving and creative expression through the warm months, then go inward as the light fades and close the year in deep rest.

Each circle stands alone, so you can come to one or come to all twelve. See which circles are coming up, with dates and booking, on the events page.

1
Shedding the Snake
Releasing old skins around your sensuality. As we close the Year of the Snake, we shed the shame, the performance, the beliefs that no longer fit. Snake-like sensual movement, guided inquiry, and ritual release by fire.
2
Igniting Your Senses
Awakening to pleasure. The Fire Horse has officially begun. Blindfolded sensory exploration, self-touch practice, and pleasure mapping. Not through force, through invitation.
3
Running Free
Boundaries as liberation. A horse runs free because it knows its edges. Yes/No/Maybe embodiment practice, paired boundary exercises, and an introduction to the Wheel of Consent.
4
Unbridled
Your body in motion. Pure Fire Horse energy, guided free movement where there’s no right or wrong, just the pleasure of being in your body, unbridled.
5
Stoking the Fire
Desire, pleasure and aliveness. Desire isn’t dangerous. It’s your life force. Pleasure breath practice, guided body exploration, and naming what you actually want.
6
Midsummer Blaze
Celebrating your radiance. The longest day. Dress up, be seen, remember what it feels like to be beautiful, for no one but yourself. Mirror work, witnessing circle, and dancing as the sun sets.
7
Fuel for the Fire
Learning to receive. Fire needs fuel. You can’t keep burning if you never take in. Partner hand massage with consent teaching, exploring what blocks receiving.
8
Adorning the Temple
Creative fire on skin. Body painting as playful, creative expression, decorating your skin with beauty rather than criticism. Your body as canvas, not as problem to solve.
9
The Touch You Have Never Given Them
Listening to a part of you that rarely gets asked. Noticing what your breasts feel and what kind of touch they actually want, then learning simple self-massage to take home. The listening is done fully clothed and how far you take the rest is entirely yours. No nudity required.
10
The Thing You Have Never Said Out Loud
Desire, shame and the judgements we carry. Naming what has never been said out loud, putting down a judgement that was never yours, and owning what you actually want. Fully clothed, nobody touches anybody.
11
The Map You Were Never Given
Most of it is inside you. A guided meditation where you go first and find your own words, then the real anatomy with a model you can hold, gentle pelvic movement, and a five minute breath practice to take home. Fully clothed, nothing is looked at or examined.
12
The Body's Own Fire
Breath, movement and the charge your own body can raise. Forty minutes lying down and breathing, then fifteen minutes of complete stillness and a proper conversation at the end. No hands, and nothing done to you.

Is This Circle for You?

This circle is for you if…

You’re curious about your body and your sensuality but don’t know where to start. You want to explore in a safe, women-only space without pressure or agenda. You’ve been carrying shame, numbness, or disconnection around your sexuality. You want to feel more alive, more present, more embodied. You’re looking for community with other women on a similar journey. You want to try something different from talk therapy or self-help books.

You might want to consider one-to-one work if…

You’re in early trauma recovery and group settings feel overwhelming right now. You want to go deeper into specific personal themes at your own pace. You’d prefer private, individual support before joining a group. If you’re unsure, book a free discovery call and we’ll find the right fit together.

You don’t need to have done any of this work before. Every circle welcomes newcomers.

Ready to Begin?

Book a free 60-minute discovery call. We can talk through what you are hoping for and work out the right way in. Nothing is decided on the call.

What Participants Say

"I instantly felt comfortable with Melanie to discuss personal experiences, fears and goals when it comes to conscious sexuality. From the first session we did exercises that helped me deeply understand my behaviour, consent and personal boundaries. I highly recommend Melanie for whoever wants to embark on this journey in a safe space."

Natalia

"The themes around consent really helped me to understand that I can change my mind and this freed me up from a past relationship. I managed to release the shame that I had stored around my 'flower'. The intimacy in my relationship with my partner has really developed to the point where he started to also get freed up from shame and we could have more fun. I can honestly say I can really now tell when I'm in my body and when I'm in my mind and that's really helpful!"

Vaishali

"Melanie is one of the safest and empowering people I know. She helped me to explore the deep and intimate subject of sensuality, while also teaching me how to value myself, create personal space, understand true consent, and set boundaries. She is a brilliant coach, a sensitive and understanding educator, and an amazing woman. She lives what she teaches and her passion for freeing everyone to embrace their own sensual aliveness is obvious and inspiring."

Guiding your journey through deep embodied wisdom and lived experience

Melanie Knight

Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) · Somatic Sex Educator

I know what it's like to feel disconnected from your body, to use pain to try to feel something, to believe you're unlovable. I've walked that path, and found my way through to the other side.

My journey to this work began with my own profound awakening through Tantra. I discovered how to move from disconnection to embodied aliveness, from shame to celebration, and from pain to pleasure.

I'm now 50, in a deeply loving Tantric polyamorous relationship, and practice Tantra daily. As a Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB), Certified Somatic Sex Educator (CSSE), and transformational coach with over 20 years of experience, I combine extensive training with profound personal transformation:

• 10+ years studying Tantra and sacred sexuality practices
• 15+ years with Landmark (former seminar leader)
• 6+ years as a Clean Language facilitator
• Former board member of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers
• Recommended supervisor for practitioners

I specialise in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause to reconnect with their bodies and reclaim their sexual power. I came to this work through my own experience of it, and that is still the reason I do it.

Questions You Might Have

Do I need to come to every circle?
Not at all. Each circle is a standalone gathering: come to one or come to all twelve. There’s no commitment required. That said, the year has been designed as an arc, and women who attend regularly often find the journey deepens over time.
I’ve never done anything like this before. Will I feel out of place?
Many women arrive nervous and leave grateful they came. Every circle welcomes newcomers. There’s no expectation that you know anything about embodiment, tantra, or somatic work. Just bring yourself and an open mind.
Will I have to take my clothes off or be touched?
No. All practices are fully clothed unless stated otherwise for specific months (like the body painting in August and the breast self-massage in September, where the level of undress is entirely your choice and staying fully clothed is always a complete option). Any paired exercises are always optional and consent-based. You participate at whatever level feels right for you.
What does “somatic” mean?
Somatic simply means “of the body.” Instead of just talking about themes intellectually, we explore them through the body, using breathwork, movement, touch, and sensation. It’s a gentler, more direct way of learning that bypasses the overthinking mind.
Is this therapy?
No. This is facilitated group exploration, not therapy. We work with present-moment experience rather than processing past events. Many women find it complements therapy beautifully. If you’re in acute crisis, one-to-one work may be more appropriate. Please reach out and we can discuss.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and comfortable clothing you can move in. Herbal teas and all materials are provided. You’re welcome to bring your own water bottle.
How do I book?
Each circle is listed individually on Eventbrite. Click the “Book on Eventbrite” button on this page to see upcoming dates and secure your place. Places are limited to 8 women per circle, so early booking is recommended.
